MOSCOW, 24th November. Within next two months India will supply to Afghanistan four Mi-25 helicopters.
This question was rised recently in Delhi by vice-minister of Afghanistan MoI Hekmat Khalil Karzai, who claimed that Afghanistan requires military supplies to deal with its current security problems. He mentioned security problems in 20 Afghan provinces this year and heavy losses of National security forces, as his words were quoted by Afghan media.
Thus, Hekmat Khalil Karzai asked for international help to develop Afghan security forces capacities in the fight against new threats.
India agreed to help and send to Afghanistan four Russian Mi-25 helicopters, because Afghan pilots are familiar with this kind of military aviation.
