The Russian Federation is ready to be involved in the reconstruction of Afghanistan, especially 142 facilities built by the Soviet Union in the country. According to Dmitri Rogozin, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues but focused on Afghanistan at the meeting and bilateral meetings of General Makarov with senior officers of the alliance.
