The US searches for new supply routes for its forces in Afghanistan

On the 20th of November, a source close to the American command told reporters that Washington had lately been studying supply routes to its forces in Afghanistan alternative to Pakistani passage.
In fact, NATO and Russia reached an agreement in April on the transit of non-military cargo through the Russian territory and several Central Asian countries to Afghanistan. However, Americans lost their interest in the route after sometime.
According to Lemar television channel, Pentagon examines a new route: Georgia-Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, the Afghan press says that the topic has once again become urgent since An American convoy of 12 trucks was seized in Pakistan. According to latest reports, 70% of the deliveries to the NATO forces in Afghanistan are realized through Pakistan.
However, it was reported on the 20th of November that Moscow gave green light to send Spanish and German forces and weapons to Afghanistan through the Russian territory.
